Biography
Marie des Neiges Léonard received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Texas A&M University. Her research interests include race and gender, including comparative studies between the United States and European societies. She has published numerous essays and a book on the question of race in France. She is fluent in French. She is also a photographer and has held exhibits in Paris, France, and in the United States.
